In 2023, HQA Spring embarked on the Cognia accreditation process and is now awaiting final review. Cognia, a globally recognized organization, evaluates schools based on collaboration, data-driven results, and impactful decision-making. This milestone reflects our unwavering dedication to providing a high-quality education that meets nationally recognized standards.

A New Chapter Begins in 2019

HQA Spring started its journey as BHA-Houston, an extension of the well-established Brighter Horizons Academy (BHA) from Dallas. With decades of success in nurturing students academically and spiritually, BHA expanded to North Houston and Spring to meet the community’s growing needs.  

Transformation in 2023: HQA Spring is Born

In 2023, BHA-Houston proudly transitioned to Houston Quran Academy (HQA) Spring. This evolution brought a renewed focus on delivering a distinctive blend of rigorous academics and in-depth Quranic studies, further aligning with HQA’s mission of fostering academic excellence and spiritual growth.  

Setting Standards for Excellence

HQA Spring began the Cognia accreditation process in 2023 and is now awaiting final review. Cognia’s rigorous evaluation process highlights our unwavering commitment to providing a high-quality education recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Nestled on over 9 acres of land, HQA Spring offers a vibrant space for students to grow and thrive. With approximately 60,000 square feet of building space, our campus is designed to provide a comprehensive PreK-12 educational experience that nurtures academic excellence and personal development.

Our campus features 27 fully equipped classrooms, expansive outdoor playgrounds, and a basketball court—creating a balanced environment where students can excel academically and stay active physically. As we continue to grow, plans for further expansion are underway to enhance the student experience and meet the needs of our growing community.
